Purdue Student Sustainability Council Presentation - November 30, 2016
President Zachary Fuerst, Secretary Adam Darr, and Nuclear Engineering Ambassador Anna Biela spent time today teaching students about the sustainability of nuclear power and radiation safety. Thanks to our affiliates at the Purdue Student Sustainability Council for giving us the privilege of speaking at this event!
Nuclear Engineering Opportunity Night (NEON) - September 13th, 2016
Students had the unique privilege to speak with companies from Purdue's Industrial Round-table who were also seeking to recruit for nuclear positions. This year, the event took place in one of the Purdue Memorial Union ballrooms with an estimated overall attendance of around sixty students seeking to talk to ten companies and research groups on campus. The event was a massive success (with a special thank-you to Corprate Relations Chair Cailyn Ludwig) and we would like to thank all of the companies in attendance!
Research Facilities Tour - Summer, 2016
Incoming students to Purdue University were able to visit one of the research facilities under the Nuclear Engineering department and speak with undergraduate students and graduate students alike. Special thank you to Social Relations Chair Payson Diffenbach who helped to organize this event!
